W3C HTMLElement Reference. Part of the HTML Interface
HTMLElement
The basic HTML element from which all others are derived and which will therefore inherit its methods and attributes. Thus, even if not defined explicity all elements will have this interface's properties and methods. HTMLElements are also Nodes and have all the Node methods/attributes.
Usage and Examples
// get an HMLParagraphElement
para = document.getElementById{"p");
// className is attribute of HTMLElement
if(para.className == "mystyle")
