The EUI48 and EUI64 RRs are defined by RFC 7043. They respectively allow the definition of the EUI (End User Identifier) in 48-bit (Ethernet MAC) or 64-bit (Firewire, Modified Ethernet MAC and others) of a particular host. Due to security concerns the RFC recommends these RRs only in locally visible DNS zone files.
